No insult but. you are obviously not a business person. One of the cardinal rules of business and dealing with people is "It's more important to be effective than being right".
Have you every heard the two two rules for customer service?
Rule #1: The customer is always right.
Rule #2: If you don't believe this, go back and read rule # 1.
For Tyler to ask for the parts back, might give him a feeling of righteous indigenous but that attitude is business suicide!
