Your rear door line must line up to the rear quarters -- because the quarters don't move -- so if that lines up and you're happy... then go ahead and tack 'er up. The front fender line is adjustable and you may have to modify the door edge - or fender edge to get that perfect gap (depending on what you're happy with).... Once you have the rear quarters on - the trunk gap is even and perfect (to your liking) and the tailpan is in and you're happy with that... then it sounds like it's time to start sticking her together.

RE Drip rails: Cut 'em off while you have the chance. You live in Reno - and aren't going to drive it in the rain anyway! LOL
