A 295 usually should have at least a 10" rim but you can check with the manufacturer on that. I have a 295 on a 10.5 rim on a 72 camaro but the front end has been widened (fender flares). The tire is almost 12" wide and I doubt on a stock wheelwell you would do it without reducing your turning. I can take any measurements you want but nothing much is stock any more except the frame for about 3' in that section. Inside to inside tire is about 50" outside to outside is 73 1/2". My tires would be slightly shorter because they are a 295/30 and a different brand, but still close. Hope that helps a bit.
