Take some time and do some searches and ask questions in the specific cateories.

I know that their are some guys transplanting the complete drivetrain under camaros so I don't see why it couldn't be done on its cousin the nova.

Extending the driveline-(not sure the correct term) can be done.

You will need a jig if you plan on doing the complete suspension, but it is very do-able if you have the tools and skills.

One thing about it, you can always use the engine and back it up with T56 and go with an aftermarket subframe and rear. There are several vendors that could get you hooked up with the suspension you guys need.
