I recieved my new Moser 33 spline axles with tapered bearings tonight. How foolish to think I'd be cruising tonight.
The are machined wrong for my brakes and ultimately backspacing. The bearing needs to move towards the axle flange. They are only .100 off but I'll either need to find a local shop that can turn down the axles another .1 or send them back to Moser. Driving to the Optima challenge isn't looking to promising to say the least. The good new is there is NO end play now. I also have the updated Wilwood plates pictured that were redesigned with a taller lip and thicker material. They were nice enough to send them to me for free fo rall my trouble in the past.
