I will second that Sticky tires are nice, but you need to weigh the price of a exhibition of speed ticket and tire wear. I would like to go sticker on the goat but it doesn't make sense if the tires are only going to last me 3000 miles. be honest with yourself Do you really take your pro touring car out there and treat it like a sport bike? Didn't think so, so yes its nice to be able to use the car to its fullest but there comes a point of when money comes into consideration and common sense. It may not make sense to some but, it has kept me out of trouble on the street. BTW if you want to hook in a straight line adjust the rear suspension accordingly and get some drag radials.
A. cost of the tires
B cost of a ticket
C cost of repairing the car if you hook and break something
D cost of wrecking the car
This is all consequences on the street though
If your using the car on a track or have a different set of wheels you will be using these tires on disregard most of this.
Just my two cent on the whole matter.
