couple more points here boys,

ps2's are pretty sticky, and to be fair you are running a 335 vs. 275 and 397 ft. lbs vs. 445 ft. lbs. Never mind launch, the bfg kd's would spin at 4,000 in 3rd.

as for tire wear, really who cares? every car here pretty much has 80k+ in it so these are not budget minded builds. If you got 8,000 miles on a set of r888's that is probably 3 years of driving, and by then they are old anyway. Rain? yeah only if you got caught in it!

I guess its more of a power to tire thing. There is no point in going beyond 450 rwhp without r-compounds because you will never get it to the ground.

And if we are talking tickets and being all street legal, then you better stop at 300 hp, so you are not tempted.

breakage is a legitimate concern, then again maybe scaling back the power is a better idea??
