Default Insurance during building....................

............If you are working on a project car at home, please call your agent and find out IF you are covered! I have State Farm and was not able to get coverage until I could provide proof that it is a complete vehicle! I also found out that the vast amount of parts that were aquired for my build were NOT covered (read the fine print on your policy!) during the build either! It is a different story if a shop is doing the build ,and would still ask them to provide proof that they have coverage while THEY are working on your car. If they do ,they would be glad to provide it, if not I would become suspicious. Do your asking before you have to make a claim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
