He just emailed me and said he has another buyer, I told him it was fine if he wanted to sell it to the other person. I kinda had a bad feeling about the car anyways so this might be a good thing.

Better safe than sorry right? Was he trying to make you hurry up and give him money by telling you he had another buyer? That is a sure sign of something fishy going on. Like I said, he just wants the money and anyone that will hand it over can deal with the hassles. I am glad it's not you buddy!
