Line lock should work ok with hydroboost, the line lock solinoid valve simply holds line pressure to the front brakes only and once switched off the pressure is relieved. Again it is only plumbed into the front brake calipers allowing you to lock the front and have the rear free. This will allow you to hold the vehicle in place during a burn out to heat the tires. With out it your brake system will lock the rear wheels as well as the front, at a drag strip it becomes difficult to hold the car in the burn out box with out one.
