The car was a pretty big hit, and my dad was shocked to see it there. It was pretty funny, for the first 10 minutes after we got there there he was just standing there staring at it, while there were a ton of people hoping he would get out of their pictures
The event was great, and packed. I think everyone had a good time despite getting up unreasonably early for a Saturday, and the cold (for Socal) and overcast weather.
Thanks go out to Steve Rupp and Dick, as well as the rest of the gand for getting up at 5:30 to get a couple good spots so we could have a 1969 and 2010 parked facing each other, right out front. Speaking of Steve, I know he took some nice shots of the gathering, maybe he will post some up...
