So if my car runs 12.0's, and one day I hit an 11.99, the people at the drag strip are going to tell me to leave until i get a roll bar and all the other 11 second stuff right? Or can I say no, I run 12's, and sometimes 11.99's I don't need it..? I remember when I hit a 12.99 and I needed a helmet, there was no argument about whether or not I had a 12 second car, it was "you run in the 12's, you need a helmet, thanks bye" and I had to borrow one quick to keep racing... to me at that point I had a 12 second car, although I did tell people it runs high 12's..
