Thanks Jim, THe A/C unit is one the cusomer supplied. The lines are run up behind the pasenger fender and then through the front of the inner fender. The heater core box was widened about an inch to tuck all the lines and heater control valve in behind the box. The A/C kit he provided would not have been our first choice. We cleaned it it up from what they had sent for installation.
I will have to check out the you unit you are talking about.
Oh yeah the carpet is from Car's inc. I think its manufactured by ACC. its a stock 59 set.

PS, have you thought about replacing the AC cover with the version that exits the lines out the back of the cover ? I don't have a part number handy - but it really cleans up the visual and packages the lines down under and outta view better. If you haven't charged the AC yet - now would be a great time to replace it. |
