HPDE and driving clinics are covered by insurance although you will probably have to fight with the insurance company. As long as the venue does not say "racing" anywhere in the waiver or flyer you are safe. No insurance co. is going to roll over and cover you but if forced into a corner they are obligated to under your contract.
