Welding is not recommended but if you choose to you can.There is a lot of stress on a stock rear panel in hard cornering. If you go from leaf springs to a different rear it does change this problem.

Thanks Jim, I have done a few qtr's on camaros and such, when I use seam sealer I 3m's flexible seam sealer that way when the seam expands and contracts it can. Also if I weld the seams I have a way that I do it and it will never crack or if it does you will never see it.
