Okay, I am not as experienced as many here, but I am also not shy so I will ask, "Why paint clear over powder coat?". I have had frames and suspension parts clear coated and they looked great. And now you can get just about any color and sheen you want. Powder coating is much more durable than paint, right? Why put a lighter duty finish over a heavy duty finish?
Unless... paint can be cut and polished, but I do not know if powder coating can? Is it for sheen and mirror smooth finish? (If so, maybe I am smarter than I think!
