So here I am, home on two weeks of R&R and enjoying every moment of it when my buddy Andy (Marine71) calls up and tells me That Steve and Mary are heading to Las Vegas for some autocross fun. No way I was going to miss that, so we headed to the track. I wasn't there 30 seconds and Steve has me in the Camaro Performers 2010 with Mary. I've ridden with Mary before and knew to hang on for dear life. What a blast! The smile on my face just kept growing as Mary and Steve took me out for lap after lap. Steve actually had me drive a few laps, which was a huge surprise! Yeah...it's addicting. lol I didn't turn the fastest time (that belongs to Mary...of course) but it wasn't to bad for a guy who hasn't been on a track like that in 18 years.
A big thanks to Andy, Steve and Mary. It was awesome!
