I remember as a kid, riding in my dads 66 Turbo Corvair. He decided to give it a 100 mph run and the hood came off the car. It was an instantaneous blur. It came off the car and broke the hinge bolts as it flipped up. I remember looking back and see it land in the ditch and fold like a paper plate.
