While I'd like to claim I'm manly enough to wear around a pink hat, everybody that did a 360 during the event got their turn. It was fun. Those front pads didn't make a peep after the driving school on Friday. They must not have been bedded in properly. They are now. I put about 125 miles of pure racing on the car this weekend. The car stopped really well from cold to hot. As soon as I get rid of that pesky knockback issue I'm in great shape. It clearly wasn't an issue on the Baer stop challenge since I was going straight. On the road course I lifted that much earlier for the customary pump and let's not even talk about the autocross. I did have the ear of one of the head guys at Wilwood however. He watched me post the fastest time in the Baer stop challenge and he did say they are working on a floating caliper/or rotor just for my application.(Let me say it's not just a Wilwood problem, it's caused by axle/bearing flex) He mentioned Sema but I don't know which year. That's really all that's left to make a huge difference in performance. I think the car is still leaning to much but any changes in spring rate will effect the ride. Doubt I'll change it. Here are two videos I stumbled on. This was the last turn. As you can see, I lifted early on all the turns with a barrier. I simply didn't want to chance of wrecking my car. I love it when the flag man is ready to bail on the second video. haha
