Default pcv/ breather setup

Ok i know there are a million threads dicussing it. this one is just me asking a question to reassure myself..
check out this link:

Now i know this guy isn't the master fabricator but do you guys think this is an effective breather setup? i will still run a pcv valve from the intake to crankcase.
I was thinking about running one on each side between the head and the acc brackets.

The thing i like about his article is that i can build these tanks myself in a small enough fashion that they will fit. Do you guys think the area given ~(6"x3") would be big enough? i might have to drain them more often but at least i could keep them small and clean. i was thinking -10 or bigger line from the front of each valve cover to the tank on each side or just building a "log" between each cover. then on the rear of the passengers valve cover running the pcv to the manifold (ls1 performer rpm)
