I was standing outside at a frend of mines barber shop that he owned and a guy rolled up in a 70 C10. He got out and said,
"Nice car, want to sell it?" I then said,
"Nope." He then stated how beautiful she was and offered me $25k. He also stated how serious he was on that price. I further stated that it wasn't for sale, especially due to the fact I had just gotten her running and all so I hadn't had time to enjoy it for myself. So, the moral of the story is that it is just the opposite of someone saying something dumb is... at least this guy realized car quality and offered me a decent price and didn't offend me with a cheap price. I guess his affection of cars should have been obvious due to the fact he was in a nice, black 70 C10 with a pretty darn good sounding cam in the motor.
