I use PPG vinyl dye mixed up by a local paint supplier so I just put it in a jamb gun and shoot it. I usually get it a couple quarts at a time and it lasts for a long time in the can so if I need it a couple years later it's still fine. A quart's plenty to do a rear seat and headliner with a lot left over for other projects or touch ups down the road. You won't be able to use a HVLP gun easily because of the tip needed to shoot the headliner if it's in place. Like anything prep is key!
