Default Running an 8 inch with 4:11 and mini spool, looking for transmission ideas
So, let me start off with a run down.
I have a 1967 mustang coupe with a 84 5.0 in it and a c4 trans. I recently went thru and rebuilt the factory 8 inch rear end and added 4:11's and a mini spool. I am looking at converting it over to a stick because driving this thing with a 3 speed auto is killing me. I want some opinions on what to run for a tranny. I hear t-5 this and t-56 that. What would really be good for my combo. The engine is incredibly mild. So, I am just looking for some better driveability.
