Typically max travel on a plastic T56 master is 15/16". Any further it bottoms out and cracks and leaks. That looks like a McLeod master to me, so the travel should be the same if it is for a T56 application.
I like your use of recycled garden shed tools to make hot rod parts. Might be a market for stuff like that. Seems unfair you have such talent.
