Plenty of scratchbuilt 1/4 scale cars running the scale V-8's too.

While the scale V-8's are cool, these are in a league of their own in terms of complexity. They're all running models too. I often doubt the sanity of the people who design and build models at this complexity level.

Napier Deltic, 18 cylinder opposed cylinder, 3 crankshafts, 2-stroke supercharged diesel. Very neat engine design.
