As mentioned before, Shazam is an awesome app
There's a starbucks app (if that's you favourite coffee shop - sure there are others too). co-pilot, or Tom Tom satnav software. Aroundme is another good app, if you are looking for any random places around you or something specific.
I also use XEcurrency - to keep my eye on US$ / UK£ exchange rates
Another app that I use for a few other forums is called Tapatalk.......would be good if Lateral-g signed up for that - calling all forum admins
