20x12's will definately not fit on a '62 Impala without mods. A 20x12 will not fit on too much of nothing without mods. Alot of people don't know that a 12" rim is actually 13" wide. I have 20x11's on my Chevelle is it a tight fit. Could have gone 11.5" but didn't want to chance it and a Chevelle is a much bigger car than a '62 Impala. But the great thing about 3-piece wheels is you can always modify the rim halves. So, if the price is as good as you say it is, buy them and have the inner/outer barrels changed out to fit your car.
