The hell with the ridge beam and board and nailer...

Just "hot rod" the existing post the way I did mine!



AND YES -- IT IS BOLTED TO THE FLOOR -- but the post is sitting over the bolt so it's blind. And NO I don't give a damn if it's code or not.







A plasma cutter -- and a Burr King.... can make almost anything!
