Default ls7 - dry sump vs wet sump

Crate LS7s from GMPP come with a dry sump oiling system. Mast Motorsports sells an LS7 with a wet sump system. What are the pros/cons to each type of system? What is involved in converting a dry sump system to a wet sump system in order to avoid a separate/remote reservoir? The specific application would be a 69 Camaro with a Detroit Speed subframe. Thanks.
