I just picked up a custom LS1 harness and ECM programmed for a swap from eBay seller chevythunder_ls1. The harness is very well done, extra long, includes both fan relays and fuel pump relay, extra long O2 sensor cables, fuse block, OBD2 port and an installation DVD.The harness is well labelled, it will be great for a novice such as your self. It will also give you an ECM that any tuner can work with. This one was no. 12200411.
Watch for his auctions he has them regularly and I got this one for $430 which is a great price for all that.
