I know you said this as a joke, but the Pro Touring dinner is a lot of fun also. We've always had our deal (when there was an official party) on a different night to not interfere with theirs, as many of the same people are members of both sites.
Now that Lateral-G is a sponsor of the Optima Challenge we've adjusted when we arrive at SEMA. We get in on Wednesday and stay through Sunday to do the Optima Challenge on Saturday. Doesn't give much time to do a nice dinner deal, but I've love to do some sort of simple meet and greet, it's always a lot of fun to put a face to the names on this site!
