We've been making some good progress on the car, and we intend to have the car done in mid November in case we happen to win Muscle Machine of the year. I never figured in a million years that we would ever be in the running for such a thing when we got this car several years ago.
Dick has been thrashing away on this car, and it will be coming together pretty quickly. It's kind of like last year all over again.
Dick and I (mostly Dick) have been trying to figure out the floor mount pedal, and it looks like they are going to be a royal pain. The clutch master needs to go exactly where the frame rail bends up on the subframe. In order to be close to making them work we're going to have to have the drivers seat way back and move the steering column closer so everything will still be within reach. I might have to go with a set of hanging pedals if everything fails.
