The Mule has twin turbos and two Bosch pumps and has had the same problem. One pump runs all the time and the other only comes on under boost. I believe the problem is the fuel system is sized for big power but under no boost just cruising you aren't using much fuel so most of it is just returned to the tank. It slowly heats up. The Mule has a stainless tank that seems to retain heat also. My fix was to mount a pancake style cooler in front of the radiator that the return line fuel passes thru on it's way back to the tank. I have not had it on a long trip since though but I think it will work.
