If I were a '69 Camaro owner, I'd be pissed if after spending 5 years building the car exactly the way I wanted it, the guy accross the street could buy one that
looks like mine and performs better... or even worse, a middle aged woman down the street buys one with a V6 to try to re-live her youth, and comments "Hey, Mine's just like yours"
