Thanks for the input Greg!! The design is not final & might change next week to simplify it... I got some parts on order right now for the filler neck.. that will determine final outcome..

Why not try to include a cleanable screen type (pancake style not canister style) oil filter inclusive in the tank IF you have to do an access in the fender area... it would be one less mounting (remote mount filter) and less plumbing fittings etc...
I was thinking that you'd make a removable top (O ringed) and just be able to pull the screen out - clean it and drop it back in... it would just be a stock cleanable filter plumbed inside the tank on the pressure return side - and that you'd be able to remove the whole top of the tank.
