How much weight does this add to the overall system?
The centerlock only adds a few LBS to the total un sprung weight.

The Moment of Inertia is the main concern in wheel weight. The Moment of inertia is what effects the acceleration and braking. The Moment of Inertia is not affected by weight in the center of the wheel. Weight around the outer perimeter of the wheel affects the Moment of inertia.

Imagine swinging a rock on a string in a circle and trying to stop it when you stop spinning it. the lighter the rock, the quicker it will start swinging and the faster it will stop. This is where options like Titanium hardware (around the perimeter of the wheel) are very important.

Yes overall wheel weight is important, but losing 1 LB of hardware weight on the outer ring of the wheel is a much bigger benefit then gaining few in the center of the wheel is a deficit.
