Default 74 Duster

Having acquired my piece of American Iron, I have a plan to upgrade a number of aspects of the car to make it more enjoyable. It will not be a mega-dollar project as I have gone down the full rebuild before and believe I've gotten that out of my system.

So far she has had a replacement engine and engine bay cleanup after the first motor blew one week into ownership, with a dyno tune and a few issues sorted for a max of 167.5 hp at the wheels. Then a new stereo and boot retrim (in progress) some new wheels and tyres rounded off the first stage of changes.

Day I layed down the cash, over tyred, and in need of a good detail.

Her first car show, intermittent rain throughout the day was a bit of a let down

As of the weekend new sports seats. After a lot of measuring and trying to centre the seats I found that the tunnel is offset to the right... when the centre console is made up I will have to offset the mounting plates slightly to compensate. Also want to put in a floor shift instead of the column.

Feels a hell of a lot better sitting "In" a seat rather than "On" it with one bum cheek lower than the other .

Hopefully over the xmas break some of detail items of the interior can be sorted like the dash pad parcel shelf and side panels.
