If you like it enough to drive it and enjoy it after doing an LS swap then do it. But if you want to get your money out of it then I'd sell it as-is, wouldn't put any more money in it.

I feel ya Jody. This is what I do for a living and I know the car isn't gonna make me anything but even if I made a grand or two on it I'd do it. If it was just a stock Z28, there's no way but this car was fast as hell with just a 350 and NOS and the transplants are so hard because you have to fab the cars to handle the torque made by the LSx motors. Thats not a factor here because it's already had hose issues rrestedl Basically I'm gonna "loose money" either way but I just have a hankering to do it and I think it's mostly because I freaking LOVE this car and I've never been a big fan of the third gen. but I doooooooooooooooooo so love this one!
