lead would be best but health reasons may call for weld and metal putty.its amazing when you heat up the joint how the leads just rolls out.make sure to get old lead out of top of window pillar too.the old tends to crack with time.starting with new lead may make your paint last longer.im not a body guy these are just my opinions.good luck
