Default Lets talk spindles!

OK guys- I'm starting to get my 67 Camaro back on the road after an eight year garage stint. Right now the car is stock front end with Hotchkiss coils and Herb Adams shocks. It does have factory disc. Of cousre I want great big brakes and an aftermarket subframe but I am the no budget for car parts guy. So I rememberd that the Stielow's Red Witch had c4 corvette spindles on it. Hmmm.....A quick trip to Ebay says I can buy theses spindles for about 100 per side. Then I can get much better brakes for almost nothing. I want to know how and why Stielow chose these spindles for that car. I assume that they are also taller than the Camaro spindles making the car handle better too. Are there any other advatages to c4 spindles? Why haven't a thousand other 1st gen Camaro owners done this swap? Anybody know what is involved in doing this swap? Thanks for any help and insight. Jason
