If that's the case - then why the return line etc.... Most mechanical pumps pump 7#'s or so of pressure.... and the carb has a needle and seat and a float bowl.... No real need for a return line and a regulator.
Are you racing? Why the 1/2" fuel line? What are you running? Was pretty sure you said SBC.... Are you doing a blow thru or what?
