I very much like the black.......it's the best color option......that's why my cars are black, my bike is black, my guitar is black.....
Anyway, they only way I can the respray hurting the value is because the car was a bit iconic in the green.....love it or hate it the green stood out. If your a potential buyer thinking "I want that car I saw in the Magazines!" then you may be a bit disappointed. However if your the guy thinking man I want that car but that color.....ughhh......well than it's perfect.
I think the stripes are understated enough to be attractive with out being obnoxious.
