My personal opinion I would go with new fenders, by the time you buy patch panels and repair yourself, or pay someone to do the repair, you will be halfway to the price of new fenders or closer, I just replace the door skins on my 69 camaro with AMD and they are sweet, seriously I worked in the collision industry for about 15 yrs, and I haven't seen panels as nice, the lines are nice, the metal is heavy, none of the b.s. I just went through with the quarters cut and split along the trunk opening, seriously wtf, I saw the list of all the other parts you are buying for your ride, If you are planning on burning and turning this car and can patch yourself, maybe consider it but your time is worth something, (time & materials), good luck with your project!
