Hey Jason,
Thanks for choosing to install Hotchkis springs in your Camaro.
We’ve seen many issues pop up while installing a new set of springs that can cause uneven ride height.

The first thing to check is that your springs are seating in the coil pockets in the frame and in the lower control arms (if you have stock lower control arms). When you had your springs out, you probably saw the groove up inside the frame for the tip of the spring to ride in. The stock lower control arms also have this groove.

Make sure that both springs are the same. If one top is in the upper groove and the other top isn’t, the car will not sit level.
The next thing to check is the springs you pulled out of the car. We’ve seen cars with different height springs. Previous owners have cut coils or heated springs on one side of the car to fix the ride height on one side of the car due to a sagging rear leaf spring, bent subframe, improperly installed floor patch panels, deteriorated or improperly installed subframe bushings, incorrectly installed subframe connectors, and more.
Here are a few things to look for when you have the springs out of the car:
Did they look identical? Do the springs have the same amount of turns in them? Is the thickness and outside diameter of each spring the same? Did you buy the springs new and in the box? Did you install other parts at the same time you installed our springs? Is your sway bar binding? Are you using gas-charged shock absorbers in the front or rear?

Let us know what you find.

You can always call our tech line too. We’re currently out of the office and will be back on January 3rd to help you on the phone to take care of your needs.
