I never posted pics of what we were doing for the steering wheel/shifter.

We aborted this as now we are going with the caddy column and tap shifter so the wheel is up for grabs now with the shifter, but it was cool at the time.

Originally the customer wanted a flaming river waterfall wheel, which does not have a standard style mount that you could sandwich the TCI paddle shifter into (it is recessed into a custom adapter)

so we remade the whole steering wheel center assembly and the adapter, and sunk the paddle shifter into the two to hide it. Then, because the center of the wheel is so large, we had to make a window so you could see the display.

I need to take a better picture straight on to the wheel, but it is in the perfect spot for your hands, and from the driver seat all you see is the plus/minus symbols of the paddles. The rest of the paddles are behind the wheel. And with the whole thing brushed it looks awesome! I think it would look great in black anodized if you took the leather off and then wraped the wheel in suede after for the race look?

I would love to see it used on something! And my personal car is a t56....too bad
