No it did not go through the auction. I was across from it for a week and a half. I had the Black 1968 RS/SS Pro tour across the aisle from Steve's Auto Restorations, the booth at which "Newmad" and her owner Dave Hall were camped out at for the duration of the show. Pictures can not do this car justice, those guys did an amazing job. The trim on the sides is formed and machined 1/4" aluminum plate that was cnc'd to read "Newmad" aswell as having a bull-nose on the radius of the edges, then frenched into the side. That is just the tip of the iceburg with regards to the "little" stuff, that really sets this one apart. Did you get any pics of our car?
