Looks like you're talking about kicking the whole rear frame the hell out of the car, that only to fit that thing, and it's not the lighterst you'de get, I'd rather use a 5 link (and I'm not really fan of it either) that THAT IRS setup, unless you take out the rear frame rails and adapt the setup to them, and in the process make it lighter.
