Since I was the first person to bring up the issue, let me be clear. I wasn't hammering rogue. I was sincerely just making the comment that in this part of this state anyway, had a state cop seen both the white ferrari and rogue, they would both have had their cars impounded and would have been cited for multiple violations. IMHO the ferrari was the guy being really unsafe (and it absolutely was unsafe) but the cops would get both due to rogue "participating". They would make the argument that the two were acting in concert. And since there's no way to disprove, that would be the end of it. Last person I know if that got into this kind of a charge ended up paying more than $5000 all told between the charges and getting the vehicle back out. I would also be concerned that just in case something unrelated to this incident happened, if the law of another party got hold of this video they would introduce it as evidence of habitual disregard for safety. I have nothing against rogue and have no concern that there is some sort of forum violation with this. Just making a point trying to protect some other folks from potentially losing their car. I won't get into the whole safety and personal opinion thing other than to say that all kinds of things kill. I agree that "speed kills" isn't really accurate enough, and that all kinds of distractions make things worse. But one fact (and it's a fact) is that speed "differential" does kill. The ferrari in this case is a classic example of exactly how to cause an accident. The only thing the guy could have done better would be to be guzzling some appletinis while driving.

BTW - I also have nothing against white ferraris, and suspect that anyone on this site would be giddy if it were given to them. They are a class piece of engineering. VERY cool cars. Cars are always cool. Drivers are the problem. This guy didn't deserve his white ferrari.
