well this engine is going into my dads 66 chevy pickup wich will be a daily driver/cruiser and might tow a lawn mower once in a while.

My dad has always wanted to build this combo ever since he read the ariticle in hot rod years ago where they built this combo and pulled 400/400 hp/tq with over 400ft/lbs from 2000-6000 rpm's and that is the biggest reason for not staying with the stock 400 stroke. I know it would be easier to make our goal with more cubes,

I am looking for suggestions on heads due to hot rod using such small valves on those heads when there is room for bigger valves and I have read posts where people have steered other people away from afr toward dart pro 1's.

plus we are building the bottom end with high quality comonents so if my dad doesnt like this combo it will end up in our imca modified.
