I agree with the statement: build with what you are most comfortable with.
We build in both styles, metal and MDF/fiberglass combo. Either one will be VERY strong when built correctly and will certainly stand the test of time. Some fear that wood or metal will weather in the elements.....DUH! Both are very durable when done right, and no car should be getting wet enough inside to pose any realistic threat. The number one concern is getting a high quality finish wrap- it is imperative that you get excellent adherence of whichever material you use. Multiple pieces and pressure fit panels or bolt together pieces will allow you more of a custom tailored look.

We have many designs and models available, including Challengers/'Cudas, Camaros, Chevelles, Mustangs, etc.
